Andre Rieu is a Dutch violinist and conductor best known for creating the waltz-playing John Strauss Orchestra. He and his orchestra have turned classical waltz music into a worldwide touring act, as successful as some of the biggest global pop and rock music acts.
I paint a variety of subjects from People, Animals, Birds, Still Life, Landscapes and Scenes of Nature from my home in McHenry, Illinois. My paintings are done in realistic detail. I also do paintings from photos of pets, family or individual portraits. I studied art at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, Illinois. After which I was employed by Nobart, Inc., a Catalog Art Studio, where I was promoted to Creative Director. In 1970 I started my own company named Dunkley Studios, Inc., a graphic arts studio and advertising agency, located in downtown Chicago. During those years, my largest account was Sears, where we produced many graphic arts projects. When Sears became 100 years old, I had the honor of illustrating a montage...
